KERN PRESS is the custom side of Kern Paper.

Everything in our shop is a decision already made. The paper chosen, the size set, the finish settled. KERN PRESS is where none of that is fixed yet, for brands who need paper made to their specification rather than ours.

Same studio. Same presses. Same papers. The difference is who the piece is for.

What we make

Business cards, hangtags, envelopes, menus and menu folders, letterheads, notebooks, stickers, packaging inserts, warranty cards, place cards.

If it can be pressed, foiled, embossed or cut, it can be made here. Most projects start the same way: a logo, a colour, and a conversation about what the piece actually needs to do.

Who we work with

Hospitality, food and drink, fashion, jewellery, and corporate clients across Indonesia, Bali and Singapore.

Some are opening a restaurant and need everything at once, from menu to name card to takeaway tag. Some are an established brand replacing something they've outgrown. Many come to us because they held a piece we made somewhere and asked where it came from.

Working with us

Tell us what you need and we'll talk it through: paper, finish, quantity, timing. From there we quote, and once the design is settled we make the die and go to press.

Custom work takes longer than ordering something ready-made from the shop. A die has to be made, and the press takes a sheet at a time. We'll be straight with you about dates before you commit to anything.
